She joined SUA in April 2005 as a Tutorial Assistant in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cvmbs.sua.ac.tz\/veterinarysurgery\/\"><strong>Department of Veterinary Surgery and Theriogenology<\/strong><\/a> where she pursued her master\u2019s degree in veterinary surgery from 2006-2008. In 2007, she received a Diploma in Global Health at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tuni.fi\/en\"><strong>University of Tampere Medical School<\/strong><\/a>, Finland, and in 2008 a Diploma in Agricultural and Natural Resources Transformation for Improved Livelihoods at the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmbu.no\/en\">Norwegian University of Life Sciences<\/a>, <\/strong>Norway. In 2010 she joined the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmbu.no\/en\"><strong>Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU)<\/strong><\/a> for her PhD. She was attached at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qub.ac.uk\/schools\/SchoolofBiologicalSciences\/\"><strong>School of Biological Sciences, Queen\u2019s University Belfast, Northern Ireland<\/strong><\/a> for 2 months (2012) for laboratory training on reporter gene assays to complement her PhD at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmbu.no\/en\"><strong>NMBU<\/strong> <\/a>on \u201cMycotoxins as Potential Endocrine Disrupters: in vitro models for steroidogenesis and receptor signaling\u201d that was awarded in 2014. Since 2005, she has been working at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sua.ac.tz\/\"><strong>SUA<\/strong><\/a>, currently as a lecturer at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cvmbs.sua.ac.tz\/veterinarysurgery\/\"><strong>Department of Veterinary Surgery and Theriogenology<\/strong>.<\/a> During that time, she has obtained several trainings on Intellectual Property Management including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wipo.int\/\"><strong>WIPO<\/strong> <\/a>Training program on \u201cIntellectual Property and Genetic Resources: In Support of Innovation\u201d in Sweden, Switzerland, and Zambia between 2018-2019. She also has certificate of General Course on Intellectual Property (2023) through Distance Learning Programme by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wipo.int\/\"><strong>WIPO<\/strong><\/a>. These trainings enabled her to pioneer establishment of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sua.ac.tz\/project\/establishment-innovation-hub-sua\"><strong>SUA Innovation Hub<\/strong><\/a> and the Agri-Food technology station at SUA for technology transfer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Ndossi graduated from Sokoine University of Agriculture in 2004, and worked briefly as a Capacity building Associate Program Coordinator at World Vision Tanzania.
