PhD public defence on 8th May 2025: Isidore Nsengimana

In October 2020, Isidore enrolled in a Ph.D programme in the Department of Microbiology, Parasitology, and Biotechnology (DMPB) within the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS) at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA). He is an Inspector of Animal Products and Feeds working with Rwanda Inspectorate, Competition and Consumer Protection Authority in Rwanda.

Thesis Title: Rift Valley fever virus genomic epidemiology, potential mosquito vectors, seroprevalence in humans, and associated risk factors in Rwanda
